We are now recruiting an exceptional Retail Supervisor to assist in leading the team at our Fashion Boutique - Westfield Bondi Junction.

As an important member of the boutique leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of Fashion Advisors, ensuring that the team delivers a high level of customer service consistent with Chanel's commitment to excellence.

You will be responsible for all facets of the day to day boutique operations including establishment of active and strategic client relationships, leadership and guidance of the team, inventory management and above all, ensuring the boutique ambience and client experience is in line with Chanel standards.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Coaching and mentoring team members on a day to day basis, ensuring competency in all areas of the Boutique
• Motivating all staff to achieve a high standard of client service in order to maximize the sales and profitability of the Boutique
• Identifying performance issues within the team and implementing solutions provided by the Head of Boutique and Assistant Boutique Manager to improve performance and other business issues
• Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profit and to take advantage of various market trends or variations
• Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning and targeting new customer opportunities.
• Using the relevant IT systems to record sales figures to assist with data analysis and forward planning
• Maintaining the highest level of product and fashion industry knowledge and utilise this knowledge to provide advice and consultation to the client.

The ideal candidate will display excellent communication skills, take pride in developing their teams and enjoy leading by example. You will be able to inspire people into action, build trust and rapport within the team, recognise good performance as well as address and manage unacceptable performance or behaviour.

We are seeking the following skills and attributes;

• Strong retail operational skills with at least two years’ experience in a management or leadership role, preferably within a similar luxury environment.
• The ability to achieve and exceed budgeted sales targets and drive your team to sales success 
• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing a culture of high performance with the ability to support, lead, motivate and inspire your team at all times
• Excellent administration skills and previous experience reporting on areas such as category mix, competitors and factors that may impact boutique results.
• Outstanding personal image and presentation standards in line with the Chanel guidelines
• A high degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business
