The Role
As the General Manager of Retail this role will see you managing the full end-to-end retail operations across a destination resort, managing a portfolio of circa $30M, driving commercial outcomes and profit targets of the various retail outlets. You will have the opportunity to engage across all levels of the business, managing a diverse range of stakeholders across a complex retail environment.
Your Background
You are a hands on, pragmatic and down to earth leader with experience operating in a multisite environment. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to be very hands on and operational but with the capability to also remain strategically focused and drive a strong customer service culture.
Your Experience
- A track record of success in managing a complex retail environment
- Proven experience managing end-to-end retail operations, with strong financial acumen in driving successful commercial outcomes and profit targets
- Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging with a diverse stakeholder group across multiple retail business streams
- Proven leadership capability, with the ability to lead from the front through hands on, active involvement in the day-to-day operations of the business
