A. Raptis and Sons Pty Ltd is one of the largest privately owned seafood catchers, processors, wholesalers and exporters. We are a vertically integrated business with fishing vessels operating in the Gulf of Carpentaria and Great Australian Bight; and product acquisition depots in Northern Australia.
We are seeking a motivated people to be a part of our team in working with our customers to assist in the preparation, storage, picking and delivery of customer orders.
Based in the iconic Sydney Fish Market, you have attention to detail and be a great team player.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fresh fish and frozen seafood orders are picked from coolroom and freezer (this requires lifting approx. 30kg fish tubs frequently)
- Loading and unloading of supplier trucks and customer vehicles
- Forklift duties include loading and unloading stock deliveries into both freezer / coolroom and packing area
- Working hours vary between 3am - 12 midday, Mon to Fri only (most shifts start approx. 4:30am)
- Must speak fluent English
- Forklift licence and experience is required
- General cleaning duties and any other operation duties as required
- Position is for immediate start
