We are currently seeking an experienced retail manager to lead a team of booksellers in our Cairns Store.
Applicants must have previous retail management experience, a passion for reading and the ability to share this passion with our customers. QBD Books is an Australian owned company with book shops located throughout Australia. We aim to provide a better range of better value books to our customers, complemented by a superior standard of customer service. We value teamwork, and require dedicated people who are motivated to achieve results in an enjoyable working environment.

In your new role you will:
- maintain adequate stock levels with guidance from the buying department;
- provide exceptional customer service;
- follow merchandising standards to present a visually appealing store;
- lead, coach and develop your team to perform at a consistently high level; and
- manage your time effectively to also be responsible for store administration tasks and timely reporting.
