Our client is a global and instantly recognised brand with a reputation for excellent customer service delivery. They now require an experienced manager to look after multiple sites within the Newcastle area. The main focus of this role will be to drive the consistent improvement of commercial targets, the customer service experience and operational processes for this particular region. You will be fully supported in your efforts to build and develop a truly exceptional customer experience as you aim to grow the business in order to meet the needs and targets set by regional management.

Description

Reporting to the senior Regional Management, you will be responsible for the overall management of the retail, financial and operational performance our client's Newcastle locations. You will form part of the Regional leadership team and will be a major contributor to our client's efforts to constantly improve the overall financial performance of the Newcastle locations.

Other duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Drive revenue growth whilst minimising costs to the business in order to meet and exceed productivity targets
  • Implement initiatives to deliver continuous improvement of the overall service quality and customer experience
  • Attract, retain, manage, develop and motivate successful sales and operational teams
  • Actively plan for equipment, stock and labour resources in line with ever changing business and consumer demands
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships through exceptional service quality
  • Ensure the adherence of all health and safety standards as well as other internal and external legislative requirements

Profile

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced manager with strong communication and time management skills, to develop and maintain a high performing team. As you will have responsibility of the continuing success of the branches you look after, you will be encouraged to bring skills that allow you to devise and implement process improvement programs.

As an ideal candidate you will also likely possess most if not all of the following:

  • Previous experience of running a large volume or multi-location business
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with internal stakeholders and external customers alike
  • Previous experience in the service industry or sales field with a strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills in order to manage multiple staff and locations
  • Honed leadership skills with a track record in developing, maintaining and growing a successful team culture
  • A prior track record of implementing process improvement initiatives
  • A high level of commercial acumen enabling you to manage all commercial responsibilities for a very busy business
