Dufry is the global leader in travel retail. We operate over 1650 stores located across all continents. In Australia, our primary brand is Melbourne Duty Free, however, we operate as one team – "the Dufry team".
We are currently seeking part time (30+ hours) and casual Sales Associates to join our Arrivals and Departures teams based in Duty Free at Melbourne Airport. This is an active role where you are required to circulate around the store approaching and engaging with passengers to maximize sales and at the same time deliver exceptional customer service.
As we are located in a dynamic airport environment that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the successful candidates will be able to work on a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday between 3:00am and 3:00am, 7 days a week.
To be considered, candidates will ideally have:
- Retail experience within a large retailer or a customer service environment.
- Energy and drive for selling and ensuring a great customer experience.
- Ability to deliver on and exceed set KPI’s and targets.
- The ability to work in a fast paced and continually changing environment.
- A “can do” attitude & a strong team player.
- An outgoing and vibrant personality and excellent communication skills.
- Must hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or be willing to obtain one
