We are looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser who is looking to further their career and help shape the future of Tarocash.
As a Visual Merchandiser within the Retail Apparel Group you will be accountable for assisting the National VM Manager with all aspects of the retail store environment with a focus on maximising sales and profit through the design and implementation of effective VM layouts and windows, whilst ensuring consistency and quality in all stores.
This role will be 100% based in stores. There may be ad hoc requirement for interstate travel. This is a physical, hands on role. You will work closely with regional and store teams to ensure the vision and VM direction is executed to plan to maximise retail sales opportunities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work closely with the VM Manager to execute the VM strategy based on agreed brand objectives
- Ensure strategies and initiatives are designed to maximize sales and profitability through effective use of creativity and commercial/business data
- Assist in the effective, consistent delivery and execution of the VM strategy & VM initiatives across all stores, including campaign execution, POS requirements, VM audits, instore promotions
- Working in unison with National, Regional and store teams to ensure all teams are trained and developed on new VM initiatives
- Assist in the management of all brand and VM material including printing, packaging, window display concept & props to meet the required deadlines
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST-
- Have Minimum 2 years' retail visual merchandising and display experience managing high profile, high volume stores
- Be a creative thinker, willing to drive change and make a difference
- Understand how visual merchandising positively influences sales results and business growth
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as a high level of organisational, problem solving and planning skills
- Have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Be open to travel interstate depending upon the needs of the business
- Have the ability to train, develop and lead others
