Precision Automotive Technology is the Car Care Sales division of the publicly listed A.P. Eagers Group Ltd – the fastest growing, most exciting and dynamic motor dealership group in Australia. A.P. Eagers are Queensland's largest automotive retailer and the second largest automotive retail group in Australia and we plan to keep growing.
With over 120 dealerships representing 27 car brands and 11 truck and bus brands we have operations in six states and territories. We also own a Motor Auction business, five Parts Distribution Centres and two Panel Shops and we currently employ over 4,300 people with sales revenue in excess of $3.2 billon per annum.
The Opportunity
Due to the continued growth we are currently seeking Trainee Car Care Consultants to work within our Car Care division.
As a Sales Consultant you would be expected to:
• Present/sell a range of Car Care products to clients
• Achieve and exceed KPI's and targets
• Confidently handle telephone queries
• Actively prospect and follow-up customers
• Manage general admin and reporting
Previous experience in Car Care is not necessary, as we will provide industry leading training and mentoring that will develop you as a Car Care Sales professional in the automotive industry. However, experience in sales, hospitality or high-end retail, as well as sound administrative and computer skills are essential. You must be available to work a five-day week, including compulsory Saturdays.
The successful applicant will need to have a genuine passion for success within a professional sales environment and be prepared to work hard to fast-track your career. In return, after a qualifying period, you will enjoy an outstanding remuneration package for on target earnings of a retainer plus un-capped commission. OTE $65-85k
