The Company:
Here is a great opportunity for you to work with a team who are passionate about design and customer service. Elegance Tiles in Balwyn sources some of the most exclusive and admired brands in the tile market, creating a buzz with the local interior designers, architects and retail clients.
The Role:
A great opportunity now exists for a committed sales person who is customer focused and has a natural flare in putting a full concept together, from tiles, tapware, vanities and paint colours, many of our clients are looking for a holistic approach and love to be looked after.
You will get to be part of the selection process when new stock is presented to us. Liaise with suppliers. Participate in researching new ideas and concepts. Build your own clientele and if your flare is suited to it arrange photo shoot’s for completed jobs. You will receive product training and attend company tile launches.
This role will work closely with our team manager meeting store sales targets and ensuring merchandising and displays are always current and inspiring. You will be required to have exceptional custom service skills and be able to assist clients in making decision’s in tile selections and to close sales.
Required skills:
- 1 - 3 years Retail experience and or interior design experience.
- Industry experience in tile retail, home interior sales or interior design is an advantage but an applicant who has strong sales ability and is passionate about design will be considered.
- Must have a keen eye for colour and tones that work together.
- Ability to initiate new business with interior designers, architects and builders.
- Must be able to close sales and meet sales targets.
- Good merchandising and presentation skills.
- Proven relationship building skills
- A professional presentation & excellent communication
- Ability to work autonomously
- Internet, word and social media experience.
- Photoshop experience is an advantage.

- Previous experience in meeting sales targets and KPI’s. You have a bubbly personality and a keen interest in design and home renovations.
- Available to work every alternative Saturday with Monday off.
