We're seeking an experienced Assistant Visual Merchandiser to partner with our National Visual Merchandising Manager in crafting stunning brand stories for 7 luxury brands across Sydney and Queensland.
One of the major players in premium retail in southeast Asia, Valiram operate Victoria's Secret, Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Bath and Body Works, Rolex and TUMI across Australia, with continual growth plans for new store openings in 2018 and beyond. Due to expansion and promotion, our Visual Merchandising Manager, based in our Sydney Head Office, is in need of an Assistant VM to keep our Sydney and Queensland stores looking fabulous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and execute our brands Global VM standards
- Monitoring presentation standards within stores of responsibilities and coaching and training store teams in presentation standards as required to ensure these are maintained
- Manage sale set up and new floor set
- Drive store specific VM strategies to increase sales
- Distribution, installation and management of VM Collateral
- Weekly reporting to VM Manager regarding VM standards in stores of responsibility
- Assisting in new store openings
THE IDEAL APPLICANT...
- Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) is a must.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience within the retail industry, preferably Luxury Fashion
- Experience working in Visual Merchandising is essential
- have a good aesthetic sense and strong interest in fashion
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to interface regularly with internal and external business associates at all levels
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills with experience working towards strict deadlines
- A professional attitude and high motivation
- Flexible and adaptable
You need to be an excellent communicator, with strong planning and organisation skills and be passionate about Visual Merchandising
