Our ANZ team at WellPet is made up of enthusiastic professionals who understand the difference our products make in the lives of pets and we then work with our customers to ensure our products are readily available for pets to enjoy!
We have an immediate opening for a Pet Nutrition Trainer to join the WellPet team covering the Western, Northern suburbs Melbourne, plus some regional work . This role is responsible for two key areas. The first is to help merchandise stores educate retail staff members on pet nutrition as well as the WellPet product range. The second part of the role focuses on you being the face of our brands and actively talking and educating pet owners about nutrition for their pet.
If you care about animals, come from an animal health background, possess a positive 'can-do' attitude plus strong selling skills and the ability to leverage excellent relationships, you will fit well with our culture. A background in the pet health industry is an advantage, however the role will be supported with a full onboarding to enable you to talk confidently about all the products and pet health needs.
This role is for a maximum of 3 days per week.

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be available to work every Saturdays and/or Sunday.
- Must be able to lift up to 15kg
- Must be able to stand/walk a minimum of 4 consecutive hours.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to surrounding locations within 70km radius.
Hours:
- This is a steady, long term, and every weekend position. Saturday and Sunday are the primary days of work.
- Role is permanent part time so in addition to hourly rate there is sick leave, annual leave, vehicle allowance, travel support, phone and internet allowance and superannuation all included.
- Typical hours are 7-8 hours per day depending on the individual store traffic and availability in your area.
