Beefy's are a well established, multi award winning boutique Pie Bakery Cafes with 10 stores in South East Queensland.
Our friendly team have a reputation for high quality products and excellent customer service.
We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Casual Bakery Assistant for our Cannon Hill store.
Hours will be approximately 4 shifts per week (shifts are generally 6 - 8 hours). Applicants must have full 7 day availability. This position would not suit uni students. Previous experience in a food retail environment an advantage.
This position is based on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday (working every 2nd weekend). You will be required to work a range of shifts including opening and closing shifts so you must be able to work varying shifts between the hours of 4am to 7pm.
Due to the early morning start times your own transport is essential.
Applicants must be able to work varying shifts between the hours of 4.00am - 7.00pm and must be available to work every second weekend.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring excellence in Customer Service
- Eftpos & cash handling transactions
- Coffee making
- Ensuring service areas are maintained to the highest standards and store is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Opening & Closing of store
- Supervising junior team members
Essential Skills / Attributes:
- Good coffee knowledge / barista skills
- Must be honest, reliable and punctual
- Passion for exceptional customer service
- Team player who leads by example
- Eye for detail and presentation
- Ability to build strong customer and staff relationships
- Adept at maintaining a positive team environment
- Experienced in opening and closing procedures
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be an Australian Permanent Resident
- Previous experience in a food retail environment an advantage
