Australian Motorcycle Accessories (AMA) Clearance Warehouse are currently seeking a highly motivated, success driven Assistant Manager / 2IC for our Yatala Warehouse.
About Us....
Australian Motorcycle Accessories Clearance Warehouse (AMA) opened its first store nine years ago with the aim to provide motorcycle riders with the best brands of apparel and accessories at heavily discounted prices.
Our stores are open to the public 7 days a week, customers can also order via our online store and we deliver Australia-wide.
About You....
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated motorcycle enthusiast who is strongly customer focused, and has the ability to lead and motivate staff members whilst reaching and exceeding individual targets and goals.
You will have a proven track record in retail sales and exceeding customer expectations and always lead by example.
As Assistant Store Manager you will form part of the store leadership team.
This is a full-time role with the successful candidate working a four day week and every second weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Essential skills & attributes:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a retail management role
- A passion for motorcycles and good knowledge of motorcycle accessories, both MX and road, is essential
- Strong customer focus and delivers outstanding customer service
- Exceptional sales drive
- Skilled in product merchandising & promotion to maximize sales
- Team player who leads by example
- Proven leadership ability
- Experienced in cash handling and till procedures
- Experience in opening and closing of store
- Can manage a high volume of customers with ease
- Committed to exceeding customer expectations
- Has the ability to develop fresh concepts to drive sales
- Experienced in stock control procedures and inventory management

Applicants must be physically fit, capable of lifting and moving heavy boxes and being on your feet all day.
A passion for motorcycles and good knowledge of motorcycle accessories, both MX and road, is a must. Additional product training will be provided
