Excellent opportunity for a driven retail managers to take on these key operational roles for a global, household name skate brand new stores opening in Perth.
The most important factor for these roles is culture, the team are fantastic and therefore this management role is really important for them to ensure a continuation of the excellent vibe they currently have within their teams throughout the country! Applicants will need to be high energy yet laid back, motivated yet not in your face, lovers of music, festivals, skate culture, surf culture, BMX etc. This store will suit a unique, quirky, fun loving manager who can balance between enjoyment of the job and overachieving targets in a busy volume store.
Passion for visual merchandising would be particularly advantageous for this role. It has a high footfall of a wide range of customers who enjoy the experience, the pace, the music and the environment. These are all key sales opportunities and you must be able to attractively display products but also be able to train, develop and support your team to knowledgably upsell to customers.
To be successful in your application you will need:
- Minimum 2 years retail management experience
- Strong experience in a high volume retail environment (min $2 mill t/o)
- Ideally experience in a flagship/large store environment
- Dedicated to a strong team culture and motivation to lead by example
- Ability to nurture and develop other staff to bring out the best in them
- Strong visual merchandising skills
- Open communication skills and able to build rapport easily and effectively with a range of people
- An interest in skate, surf, BMX, snow culture
- Proven background achieving KPIs and sales targets
- Experience of inventory management
- Experience in overseeing security and loss prevention
