As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of your department.
- Maximise the sales and profit opportunities of the department
- Manage the costs of the department including wages
- Ensures budgeted sales and trading profit are achieved and exceeded
- Effectively communicates to the team
- Lead a team and inspire a culture with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Attract, develops and retain a talented team
- Recognises and rewards positive performance
- Sets a personal example of exceptional customer service for their team
To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic with a strong customer service focus. You must display exceptional communication skills. The successful individual will have no difficulty identifying performance gaps and taking actions to resolve. You will have a passion for retail and working with people.
