About Us
Supercharge is a leading wholesaler and retailer of lead acid batteries for applications such as automotive, commercial, marine and industrial. Due to continuous growth and recent acquisitions, we are looking for additional team members to be part of our Sales Team.
About the Job
This position will be reporting directly to the State Manager and the major duties include but are not limited to the following key focus areas:
- Managing and motivating a small team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Managing stock
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales
- Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
- Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
- Dealing with staffing issues such as conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and development
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
- Responding to customer complaints and comments
- Organising special promotions, displays and events
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
- Initiating changes to improve the business
- Dealing with sales, as and when required
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Knowledge and understanding of computers
- Ability to manage and develop customer relationships
- Preferably with previous battery experience
- Proven sales skills (3-5 years’ experience)
- Strong desire to improve the business
- Car licence (Mandatory)
