  • Full Time opportunity – 38 hours per week

Our Store Managers set the standard for customer experience. This pivotal role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the store team in the execution of the business strategy. This will be a challenging and rewarding position for a dynamic, successful individual who is looking to making a difference.

Reporting to the General Manager – Stores, your passion for retail, combined with an ability to operate independently whilst building strong working relationships within the team will provide you with a solid foundation for this rewarding role. Your focus will be on operational efficiency as you drive sales, service and profit by leading a team of professional staff. You will cultivate a culture within the store that supports company strategy.

Strong commercial knowledge, effective business acumen and well-developed retail skills will be highly regarded. You will need to be ready to handle and develop strong personalities and add value to their current skill sets.

 About the role:

  • Achieving exceptional financial results by building the business in a fast paced environment
  • Providing coaching, development and performance management to the Store Management Team
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with support team members to achieve set outcomes
  • Passionately drive, coach and communicate company strategy and values
  • Provide leadership to build resilience and growth within the store team and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Promote a customer focused culture within the store and drive excellence in customer service
  • Monitor overall merchandise presentation of the store to ensure standards are maintained
  • Promote a safe working environment

 About you:

  • Previous experience in a department store format or big-box retailer (essential)
  • Exceptional leadership qualities
