About the role:
We are looking for an effective people leader, who can take on a Manager role for multiple sites and thrive on a customer-centric environment to join our QLD team and manage our Brisbane and Gold Coast mortuary operations.
This position represents an opportunity to take on a unique challenge, combining mortuary practice with a strong focus on continuous improvement, focus on delivering exceptional service to our Client Families and internal customers. This is a hands-on role which includes assisting with mortuary preparations, as required, in addition to leading the mortuary team across multiple operational sites around Brisbane metro and Gold Coast areas.
The management responsibilities of the role require effective communication, development of personal and staff capability, and assisting staff through change. The position also supports the Shared Services Manager in implementing and monitoring the necessary policies, systems, procedures and support needed for successful operations.
Skills and Experience:
- Operational management experience in a multi-site environment
- Ability to provide exceptional customer services at all levels
- Ability to move between strategy and operational execution
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Current Full Drivers Licence
- Ability to ensure InvoCare policies, procedures and quality standards, as well as Occupational Health and Safety requirements, are followed
- Qualified embalmer and mortuary experience will be highly regarded but not essential as training can be provided
