Upmarket Pets is Melbourne's busiest Pet Store with a great CBD location next to Vic Market. We are currently seeking an experienced Groomer required for our grooming salon located in the Melbourne CBD. We are open 7 days per week and have flexible rosters to fit your lifestyle. Previous grooming experience is required. Duties include grooming, animal husbandry and customer service.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able groom independently on most popular breeds
- Have previous grooming (essential) and retail experience with a customer service focus and ability to make the sale
- Have an outgoing personality with a passion for pets
- Have great dog handling skills and be confident with all breeds.
- Have excellent presentation and be clean and tidy at all times.
- Be self-motivated, hands-on and able to work unsupervised
- Have high integrity and great communication skills
- Have composure under stress and pressure, and able to work to deadlines
- Have good communication skills
- Be hard working, punctual and reliable
