The Company
Our client is a leader in the flooring industry successfully specialising in tiles, carpet and wooden flooring. With a market edge on their competitors based on the range of product and competitive pricing, our client services both the commercial trade sector and the home renovator.
The Position
As the Showroom Manager you will be responsible for managing your team of sales professionals in their South Brisbane showroom. You will be required to mentor and develop your team, develop the business to increase sales while ensure an outstanding level of customer service. And there is more..............................the owner of this business is looking for a candidate who will eventually become his second in command for the entire portfolio of stores.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in overseeing a sales team and driving sales to achieve business goals
- Proven business development and relationship development skills
- Experience with people and performance management and training
- Desire to lead a team from the front and by example
- Exceptional selling skills and ability to build repeat business
- Heavy lifting will be involved
- A forklift licence is highly desirable
