The Bowral Coop is a local, community based provider of equine and farm products, stock and pet feed, merchandise and rural supplies in Bowral in the Southern Highlands region of NSW. It operates a large retail and service based business that is focussed entirely on its customers including farmers on properties of all sizes.

A great opportunity now exists for a customer focussed individual to join its Produce and Logistics Team.  Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to Bowral Coop customers within the Produce Business Unit;
  • Building, utilising and maintaining a high level of product knowledge to provide efficient and effective levels of customer service;
  • Identifying engaging and referring new business opportunities to the Produce and Retail Business Units;
  • Actively participating in training provided, developing new skills and utilising these skills in the workplace;
  • Ensuring all products are stocked, maintained and presented in the highest level, and
  • Providing a highly motivated level of support to all members of the Produce Team.

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a retail environment with a demonstrated passion for exceeding customer
    expectations;
  • Possess a National License to perform High Risk Work (Forklift license);
  • Demonstrated the ability to work within a busy and physically demanding environment;
  • A general understanding of agri-business products and services
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to priorities tasks; and
  • A professional, friendly, positive and motivated work ethic.
