ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Merchandise Allocator for this amazing giftware and Homewares brands you will manage stock allocations and replenishments to stores whilst supporting the planning function of the business. You will be required to work closely with the planning team, retail operations and the warehousing team to understand the varying needs per store and to ensure deliveries are on time. You will also be required to do frequent analysis of stock in the business, regularly reviewing forecasts to ensure they are in-line with sales and adjust core line stocks. Executing markdowns, store transfers and regular reviews of the stock and report the findings to the planning team will also be a large part of the role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience in allocations to stores by high volume SKU counts based on individual store requirements.
- Experience in doing store visits to review stock levels and report findings.
- Demonstrated allocation experience within a retail industry.
- Knowledge and experience working with the key internal distribution systems.
- Experience in working with Buyers and Planners.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, raising and managing stock transfers to stores.
- Sound retail numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high pressure environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
