The Senior Merchandise Planner is responsible for maximising profitability by ensuring that we have the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time and in the right store.
In your allocated categories you will be responsible for managing the OTB, producing buying plans, inventory management, promotion planning, markdown management, reporting and analysis, cross-department communication, and management and development of a Merchandise Planner.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role and have a real passion for success
- Strong communication skills, aligned with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to multi task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong financial and numeracy skills
- Demonstrated ability in volume retail planning
- Ability to maintain the OTB and prepare product plans to maximise sales and profitability whilst controlling inventory
- Store base stock management
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
