The Assistant Store Manager’s mission is to drive the enthusiasm and motivation to go beyond targets in customer service as well as sales and merchandising.
  
  
ROLE
CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Support the Store Manager in all areas of customer service, including selling skills, training & development, speaking to and approaching customers, uniform standards, communication, and leading by example.
PLANNING
  • Assist the Store Manager in store operations and fiscal activities, including staffing levels, budgets, rosters (50-60 staff), and financial goals.
CASH HANDLING
  • Support cash register operational management to ensure proper cash handling and procedures.
INVENTORY CONTROL
  • Assist the Store Manager to carry out efficient inventory controls.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
  • Ensure store presentation is always meets company expectations.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Effectively lead and motivate team members by communicating concepts in a readily comprehensible way.
  • Coach team members and provide advice on career advancement.
  • Minimise staff turnover.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Effectively lead and motivate team members by communicating concepts in a readily comprehensible way.
OTHER
  • Attend to the wide range of assistant store manager tasks aimed at store success.
  
EXPERIENCE | COMPETENCIES
  • Experience in retail
  • Experience working as store manager
  • Excellent communication skills
  
CONDITIONS
  • Ÿ Must have full working rights, e.g. citizenship, permanent residence, or partner visa, etc.
  • Ÿ 38-hours per week on roster. Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat: 10-7. Thu: 10-9. Sun: 11-6
