Supabarn is an independent supermarket chain based in the ACT & NSW focused on quality, price and service. Supabarn Supermarkets is seeking to recruit an experienced Store Manager to join the Canberra Team.

It will be your responsibility to implement business processes that ensure the supermarket team delivers optimum customer relationships and sustainable financial returns.

Some of your specific responsibilities will include:

Providing leadership to all store staff, and ensuring a cultural environment where people are motivated to achieve their goals;
Attracting, retaining, developing, and promoting the best people for the role;
Ensuring a culture of superior customer service;
Meeting financial obligations, and delivering an improved bottom line performance year on year; and
Ensuring maximum turnover of stock through careful management.

To succeed in this role, you will have an extensive background as Store Manager or Assistant Manager within the supermarket or retail industry.

In addition, you will have excellent abilities in people management, stock management, merchandising and loss prevention processes, along with awareness of health and safety policies and procedures.
