About The Role
As the Meat Manager you will be a trade qualified butcher responsible for the successful operation of the Meat Department within this busy supermarket. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality meat products are available to your customers whilst monitoring wastage and operational costs.
Skills & Experience
- Trade Qualified Butcher
- Supermarket experience preferred but not essential
- Train and develop staff
- Control department costs such as wastage, wages and other operational costs
- Understanding of local market and seasonal trends
- Food safety standards
