With the growth of the Brand  team are looking for a dedicated passionate Production/Design assistant. This is the perfect role for a talented, creative and hardworking assistant get hands on experience in fast paced creative environment with a dynamic team.
  
  

• Ordering, ensuring on time delivery, receiving and commenting on SMS collections, for handover to sales and marketing teams.

  

• ï Sourcing trims and accessories for new development and production
• Checking Tech packs and samples for handover to suppliers from Proto through to PP, follow-up updating and effectively communicating changes and comments to suppliers, and internally tracking in cloud based-production/design system.
• Assisting designer with digital sketches vector illustrator
• Assisting design with style set up and any required updates in cloud based system
• Coordinating fabric testing and care requirements
• Updating care labels and labels in cloud based system
• Tracking and finalizing all details for Collection for handover are complete and correct and signed off by Creative Director on time for handover to wholesale, marketing, graphic design and production team.
• Labelling, Coordinating and tracking all samples for the business for photo shoots, production, fits etc
• Liaise with design team regarding pre-production approvals and delivery timeframes
• Measuring and reporting on pre-production samples, report to suppliers
• Measure and assess shipment samples, report to suppliers
• Monitor delivery and approval of all pre-production and shipment samples
• Coordinating returns and customer repairs ensuring repairs are returned in a timely manner, liaising with store managers and wholesale customers. 
• Checking and assessing QC reports from suppliers before shipment and liaising with suppliers to make changes or repairs where necessary
• Coordinating QC bulk returns to offshore suppliers and ensuring repairs are returned in a timely manner
• Spot QC of bulk in warehouse before dispatch
• Checking EDI’s against orders for discrepancies and confirming all stock is ordered and available to warehouse team
• Assist production team in raising and confirming purchase orders with suppliers
• Assist production team in setting up and updating production schedule
• Assist production team in ensuring products arrive on time and to quality standards set by the business
• Assisting production team with liaising with warehouses on delivery dates
• Administration support to the production and design team.
• Booking and receiving local and international couriers

  
Professional Experience and Competencies:

• Tertiary qualifications in high-end fashion production and design
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Highly organized, fast working and energetic essential
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with offshore suppliers
• Knowledge of fabric/yarns, components, construction and manufacturing of apparel, swimwear and accessories
• Ability in hand sewing
• Fast learner, proactive and able to work autonomously
• Knowledge of spec’s and grading
• Previous experience with data entry
• Previous experience with  Microsoft office, Excel, Abode Illustrator and Photoshop essential
• Work well under time pressure and multitask
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to work in a team environment
• Mandarin speaker an advantage
