Your new company
This premium lifestyle product retailer are seeking a Buyers Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Be part of an exciting culture that offers support and development.
Your new role
Reporting to the the Senior Buyer, you will provide the Merchandise team with general support and weekly reporting
- Set up and maintain design style and costing information and ensure product development timelines are met
- Receiving & returning supplier samples
- Take ownership of maintaining & organising the fabric library
- Assist with preparation of post seasonal analysis\
- Collate range plan information for catalogues and look books
- Create & manage SKU lists
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met
- General support to the Buying team
You will be working in a high performing team responsible for supporting the product development and category management across a variety of ranges. This will be a varied role where you will assist across all areas and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within Retail is essential for this role and preferably within the Buying function. You will be an ambitious individual with a clear idea of where you want to take your career in Retail. A passion for product is essential, coupled with intermediate computer skills including Excel (you will be required to take an Excel test).
