The role
In partnership with the State General Manager, you will create and execute the Online Strategy for Western Australia, South Australia and NT. You will lead and manage the provision of appropriate resources support to stores to deliver outstanding customer service, and continuously improve operations to support our online customers.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- strong and pragmatic influencing skills and stakeholder management experience at senior level
- demonstrated retail leadership experience to a Regional Manager level or similar
- a deep understanding of supermarket operations, including growth of new and existing business units
- the ability to identify new growth or operational efficiency opportunities to be deployed across a state
- effective people leadership and engagement capabilities which will allow you to deliver improved Online store network
- experience of managing implementation phases of major change projects in a high pressure environment
- tertiary qualifications in Business or a related commercial discipline
- ability to identify performance trends and synthesise route causes to generate actions towards improving results
- a background in identifying, analysing and discussing links between sales, availability and fulfilment data with all levels of the business leadership team
- a sound approach to influencing State, Operations & Regional managers, coupled with the prowess to deliver positive and engaging messages to team members in stores
- the capability to manage and deliver large budgets in agreed timeframes
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- partner with the State General Manager to drive accountability in stores, to deliver sustained and effective key performance indicators such as availability, efficiency, and fulfilment
- oversee the state Business to Business operation and key accounts to grow sales and profit, building strong relationships with our key account customers
- ensure on time implementation of key projects and initiatives, including delivery of costs
- support State, Operations and Regional Managers to identify ,develop and execute new opportunities for driving sales and coverage of Online function
- design, develop and deliver localised strategies to maximise sales and satisfaction
- build and drive a culture of customer service and profitable sales
- support continuous improvement activities within the ways of working
