TJM 4x4 are a well-respected Retailer and Trade Specialist in Commercial Vehicle Accessories with outlets in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We have over 40 years’ experience in the industry and a focus on the future, and we are continually looking to grow and improve.
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager with well-developed people management skills and workshop scheduling experience.
The position:
This role gives you the authority and responsibility of managing all the customer, sales, staff, scheduling and administrative aspects of a successful Retail Store. You will lead by example to drive your team to achieve their sales, customer and product ‘fitting' targets, while providing an outstanding customer experience. Ideally, you will be passionate about 4x4 products and broader industry more generally.
You will have:
- Store management experience (4+ years)
- Demonstrated passion for 4x4 products and/or 4WD industry
- Strong people management style, providing regular feedback on performance and motivating staff to achieve and exceed sales KPI’s
- A thorough understanding of all facets of running a ‘business’, including the sales process
- Well-developed customer service and communication skills
- Any experience in scheduling and operating a mechanical style workshop is also valuable
This is a key position for the business and we are keen to speak to candidates that are interested in a leadership role. We are also interested in applicants who are ‘ready’ to take the next step in their career into a management role.
Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, with up to 3 Saturdays (Half Day) per month.
