ZIMMERMANN also upholds a well-established wholesale business internationally with an enviable list of major stockists including Net-a-Porter, Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, Harrods, Le Bon Marche, to name some.
Based in Rosebery, we are currently seeking an organised and detail focused Buyers Assistant to join our Buying & Planning team within Retail. This role will be responsible for assisting in all administrative buying tasks.
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Seasonal, weekly and sales reporting and analysis for sales & stock optimization alongside the Allocator and Junior Planner
- Supporting the Production & Logistics teams to ensure best practice for timely deliveries across all markets
- Weekly collation of product feedback and maintaining JOOR line sheets
- Maintaining seasonal Critical Path alongside the Junior Planner & Allocator
- Understanding of size analysis/size splits as per critical path, considering sales curve at Collection and Department level. Collating all initial size curves post launch
- Store tier and product assortment analysis and profiling through Pen Portraits
- Assisting in regular Competitor analysis, providing feedback on product & pricing strategies
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this exciting position you should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or 1 - 2 years’ experience within a similar retail business/role. You will be will be exceptionally organized with a strong attention to detail and possess a strong eye for luxury products and commercial awareness.
Specific requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel with demonstrated ability to create excel-based reports and templates.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Flexible & able to quickly and effectively change priorities
- Experience with Apparel 21 (preferred)
