Are you the next leader in Richmond?
Due to some internal movement within Melbourne's biggest Coco Republic store, we are now on the hunt for a new Assistant Manager to head up the sales in the thriving Richmond team. Well suited to a natural born mentor and leader with a hungry passion for retail sales, this position oversees the vibrant and successful consultants to ensure they are hitting store budgets and targets as set by the business. You will also provide training and coaching as the team grows and keep the motivation going; all the while having fun every.single.day.
 
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to:
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the huge Coco Republic product range 
  • Work with the Showroom Manager to oversee staff and conduct tasks such as rostering, closing and performance managing
  • Provide support and training to a Design/Sales team of 9 in Richmond
  • Ensure the showroom presentation is to an impeccable standard at all times (including conducting some "fluffing and puffing")
  • Champion all daily showroom administrative tasks, making sure data is checked for accuracy and compliance
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and follow up with a positive result
Other important requirements for this sales leadership role:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Manager/2IC in a furniture environment (with cluster/area experience if from a fashion retailer)
  • High level of organisation with excellent communication skills
  • Exposure to a sales CRM system (such as Netsuite, Salesforce etc)
  • Experience managing and allocating monthly rosters for a large team
  • Strong ability to build rapport with high-end customers, and a knack for teaching others how to close the sale on the spot
  • True passion for high-end/designer brands
