The role

As a Coles Services Area Manager you are the driving strength behind an iconic brand. You will reinforce your reputation as an experienced retail leader by running a top-performing region with 100+ team members across multiple stores, who are responsible for trolley collection and store cleaning standards.

You will be an influential leader with an innate ability to inspire a large team remotely. To be successful, you'll need senior operational experience in a fast-paced retail business and have:

  • demonstrated success in improving team effectiveness
  • hired talent and built high performing teams
  • implemented business plans that resulted in sustained improvement
  • led the delivery of high store standards

Key responsibilities

As Area Manager, you will:

  • lead, coach and develop your team of 100+ team members
  • create a supportive culture that focuses on customers, rewards achievement and builds careers
  • contribute to the community
  • maintain the highest levels of safety for team members and customers
  • ensure commercial targets are met and exceeded through providing hands on support
  • be bold with ideas to improve customer experience and inspire those around you to be part of Coles success
