About the role
MotoMe is a revolutionary car buying and finance platform backed by Macquarie Leasing, part of Macquarie Group. Adopting an innovative retail format, MotoMe offers an interactive, immersive experience which provides customers with the information and tools required to make an informed car buying decision on their own terms.
MotoMe is seeking a confident people manager with automotive, retail or hospitality experience to manage a motivated team focused on engaging and educating customers to create genuine sales opportunities, within a premium automotive retail environment. This is a unique opportunity to combine your leadership skills and industry experience with your passion for the automotive industry to create superior customer outcomes.
The role will see you:
- Leverage your passion for cars and knowledge of the automotive industry
- Lead a team of automotive experts to engage, educate and assist customers along the path to purchasing new motor vehicles
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including logistics, rostering and reporting
- Foster relationships with local Dealers and brand partners
- Work with a team of finance professionals to present customers with tailored finance solutions
- Identify business opportunities and seek to continually improve operational processes
- Nurture a high performance team culture through ongoing coaching and celebration of individual and team milestones
About you
With relevant industry experience, you’re passionate about creating a transformational customer experience for Australian car buyers and nurturing a team of customer service professionals. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a motivated sales / customer service team
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Commercial focus with sound business and financial acumen
- Genuine desire and ability to learn about new automotive products and features
- Understanding of automotive finance products and sound grasp of technology
- Self-motivation, initiative and ability to multi-task
- Strong numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
- Availability to work on a rotating roster over 7 days
