About the role

MotoMe is a revolutionary car buying and finance platform backed by Macquarie Leasing, part of Macquarie Group. Adopting an innovative retail format, MotoMe offers an interactive, immersive experience which provides customers with the information and tools needed to make an informed car buying decision on their own terms. 

MotoMe is seeking a passionate Customer Service Consultant with experience gained in the automotive, retail or hospitality industry to work with a motivated team focused on engaging and educating customers to create genuine sales opportunities, within a premium automotive retail environment.  This is a unique opportunity to combine your exemplary customer service and broad automotive product knowledge to create superior customer outcomes.

The role will see you:

  • Understand customer needs in order to inform and educate customers about the right car to meet their requirements
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities and confidently assist customers along the path to purchase
  • Work with a team of finance professionals to present customers with tailored finance solutions
  • Manage the sales process and provide ongoing support and communication to customers, Dealers and other stakeholders
  • Continually develop your automotive product knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and seek to continually improve customer experience
  • Work collaboratively in a high performance team environment

About you

With relevant industry experience, you’re passionate about creating a transformational customer experience for Australian car buyers. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Energy, strong work ethic and interest in driving a new business concept
  • Strong people skills and ability to earn trust
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Genuine desire and ability to learn about new automotive products and features
  • Understanding of automotive finance products and sound grasp of technology
  • Strong numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster over 7 days
