The role:
As the Assistant Buyer you will play a key role in working with the Buyer to develop a range selection and product grading in line with business needs based on planning and analysis.

Your day to day will look like:

• Identify areas of opportunity within assortment
• Assist buyer in managing product flow, repeat orders and cancellations
• Raise, maintain and update purchase orders in AP21
• Creation and management of seasonal assortment boards
• Complete competitor analysis
• Analyse weekly sales reports to determine repeat orders
• Assist the Buyer with the buying and planning with Post Seasonal
• Complete data entry and purchase order management
• Liaise with Allocators and Planners to ensure any changes/amendments have been actioned, updated and accurate in AP21
• Perform monthly/seasonal reporting and analysis as defined and requested by the Buyer

What you will come with:

• Previous experience working with a buying role in Retail is desirable
• Experience using AP21
• Advance MS Office applications skills, Excel in particular
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast pace environment
