About the business and the role
Totally Workwear is Australia's largest network of service providers in workwear and safety gear. We have over 60 independently owned and operated stores around Australia, ensuring that you are getting tailored local service backed by the best value and quality brand named products. We have four Totally Workwear stores on the Gold Coast all owned by the same franchisee.
If you are the the successful applicant you will provide high quality customer service and an exceptional customer experience in a retail store environment. You must be a people person with a good grasp on interaction and amazing customer service. With great communication skills you will bring your previous knowledge and experience able to step in to this role and actively contribute as a member of the team.You will work with the team to maintain high standards whilst maintaining a great team culture.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Serve customers in store, providing the complete TWW experience to the highest standard
- Passion for customer service
- Manage your customer enquiry from sources such as the internet, in bound phone calls, walk in traffic and referral business.
- 'Can do' attitude and solutions focused
- Maintain store displays with merchandising and stock control
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication, punctual and organised
- Product and technical knowledge
- Maintain a friendly, tidy and professional appearance
- Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch
- Must be able to work weekends
Skills and experience
- Experience in selling workwear or trade industry products - including over the counter sales, customer development and quotes (essential).
- If you have previously worked a trade this will be beneficial.
- Product and technical knowledge is an advantage.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets
- Experience with embroidery, screen printing and heat seal an advantage.
- Must have experience in retail
