We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Specialist with strong SAP experience and skills to join our team in Gordon (North Shore) on a permanent full time basis.  (You will occasionally need to go to our Kingsgrove Roastery also so a drivers licence will be advantageous). Occasional domestic travel is potentially required.  

Reporting to our Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels – people love their coffee so we need to make sure they can get it! 

Your role will include 

• Manage product forecasts and improve demand accuracy by collaborating with the Sales teams 
• Action demand deviations
• Collaborate with business managers to maintain long range forecast
• Inventory management and reporting ensuring slow moving, obsoletes and excess are managed within KPI targets and eliminate inventory risks
• Maintenance of agreed lead times, minimum order quantities and safety stock settings
• Working collaboratively with suppliers, co-packers and production plants, managing the supply that supports demand and operating working capital targets  
• Contribute to various New Product Development projects 
• Raise Purchase Orders / Co-packer work orders

In your resume, we would like to see:

• 2 – 3 years of supply/demand/inventory management experience
• 2+ years experience using SAP as a planning tool (essential)
• Highly developed analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including managing relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external)
• Ability to work within and develop a high functioning team
• Organisational and time management skills with willingness to deliver to deadlines 
• Experience within an FMCG or Pharma will be highly regarded
