About the role:

We’re looking for experienced, passionate and motivated individuals to join us as in the Management team in our Marsden Park Store! You will:

• Enjoy developing strong relationships with customers who you will know by name and pet.
• Ensure that your store always provides memorable and meaningful customer interactions, through inspiring and educating customers with their vast pet care knowledge and passion.
• Invest in growing your team members by leading the recruitment, mentoring and development process, ensuring your high-performing team can be the best it can be.
• Always inspire a fun and supportive culture instore where your team loving coming to work every day and customers love visiting.
• Lead the store as if it’s your own and take responsibility for the store’s entire operations, sales results, stock control, VM execution, team rostering and management, P&L management and store presentation
• Run a top-notch operation with exceptional standards, sales and KPI results.
• Work closely with the pet grooming team to manage the success of PETstock grooming services, if there is a grooming salon located within your store.
• Get involved with your local community and expand your store’s customer base by further building the strong reputation of the PETstock brand including partnering with local rescue centres to ensure successful pet adoption days.

• An understanding of pet care needs would be highly regarded.
• Able to lift weights – well not quite, but lifting 20kg stock repeatedly.
• A National Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
