Reporting to General Manager – Merchandise Planning - Auto, as the Merchandise Planner you will be responsible for maximising sales, profit and return on investment through accurate and effective management, execution and communication of merchandise financial plans.

You will have management and control over OTB, create and drive strategic financial plans, analyse departmental sales, inventory, margin and purchase performance, implementing promotional and seasonal activity and full category analysis.

Interested?

If you are an experienced Merchandise Planner with:

  • A proven track record of effective management of sales, gross profit (GMROI), Stock Turn and Open-to-Buy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • High analytical skills coupled with excellent commercial focus and acumen
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and an understanding of merchandise planning tools
  • Demonstrated prior experience in a large retailer or FMCG business in a similar role
