Store person/Driver
We are an established business supplying equipment to the power and telecommunications industry. Due to restructuring of the business we are seeking a switched on individual to perform various warehouse duties, and do local pick-ups and deliveries in our company vehicle.
In this role your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
-Receiving and despatch
-Loading and unloading trucks/vans.
-Local deliveries and pickups
-Forklift operation
-Pick and packing of orders
-Stock management
-Computer operation
-Ensuring the warehouse & office is kept clean and well maintained
-Quality assurance as directed by management
The suitable person for this role will:
-Be reliable and trustworthy
-Be a good communicator
-Have a current drivers license
-Be able to drive a manual vehicle
-Forklift license an advantage
-Show initiative and the ability to work in a small team environment
-Show a willingness to perform varied workload & tasks
The successful applicant will receive on the job training in our warehouse logistics and product range. Opportunities for advancement in the company are performance based and encouraged by management.
