The role
Our Merchandise team are focused on ensuring our customers have the most positive & memorable experience when visiting our retail outlets across Australia & New Zealand by delivering a range of products that are differentiated, interesting & up to date.
This role is instrumental in providing administrative support to a Buyer, maintaining the product database and ensuring that processes are being followed to achieve optimum replenishment levels across a network of stores.
Located in our Port Melbourne support office and reporting into the Buyer, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining a suite of reports and assist with analysis of category performance, trends and promotions to drive sales
- Maintaining daily communication with stores regarding pricing, product information and delivery dates
- Monitoring stock levels and stock flow and assist with range reviews in line with business objectives / guidelines.
- Placing orders and track stock, ensuring we are in stock of bestselling lines at all times
- Liaising with suppliers and maintaining data integrity
About you
You will have administration experience and be savvy in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel. You have a can do attitude with a noticeable sense of urgency which is evident when it comes down to effective time management and the ability to prioritise important tasks day to day.
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Knowledge of / Experience with store operations and supply chain
- Demonstrated flexibility to work in a diverse and changing environment
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- High attention to detail
