We’re seeking a motivated Operations Manager to join the Settlement City retail management team, and deliver the operational functions for the centre. This is a permanent full-time role, based on site at the shopping centre in Port Macquarie.
Settlement City is a community-focussed centre that welcomes over 3 million visitors per year, and is proud to provide major stores including Woolworths, Big W, The Reject Shop and Best & Less, as well as an additional 55 stores to the community.
Port Macquarie is a truly beautiful area situated on the mid north coast with plenty of ‘after work’ activities to keep you entertained. With direct flights to Sydney and Brisbane daily, Port Macquarie offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy a sea change without the hustle and bustle of city living.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the management of day to day operational issues, contractor management and safety and compliance relating to all essential services, in line with operational budgets. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your operations experience and progress your career within retail property management!
To be successful, you’ll be able to demonstrate operations management experience, ideally gained within retail/facilities management, or a similar environment. You’ll have attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and coordinate multiple activities. We’re looking for someone who has exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills with the ability to question contractors and suppliers to ensure sound decision making. Experience in risk and compliance will also be highly regarded.
