About the Role
As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for managing your designated Department alongside and under the direction of the Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to create a unique Glue store experience
- Assist customers with product queries
- Upkeep product knowledge
- Processing transactions- new purchases, refunds and loading gift cards
- Manage customer complaints and escalate to Management when required
- Ensure that your department is presentable and replenished at all time
- Work closely with the VM team with tasks as required
- Work with Management team to ensure that budgets & KPI’s are met
- Ensure that all products are recovered by end of the day
- Alerting management of stock shrinkage
Who You Are
- Previous retail experience, with 1-2 years as a Department Manager or Assistant Manager
- Energetic, bubbly and willing to learn
- Team Player
- Completes tasks with a sense of urgency
- Confidence to actively speak with customers and drive sales
- Loves the Glue brand and culture
