Major Responsibilities
- Prepare new products for launch with internal sales teams by preparation of pricing, product description, specifications and features and benefits documents and other associated documentations
- Understand, refine and clearly articulate compelling messaging, differentiation and positioning with products.
- Develop pricing and channel strategies, plans and advertising or promotional programme for multiple channels.
- Analyse product performance and identify opportunities for enhancement
- Within M2M category, work closely with buying teams during the range selection, providing inputs including post seasonal analysis and reporting on customer feedback and market place analysis
- Develop and manage product marketing content and collateral including Sales tools and Sales training materials.
- Work closely with the national sales and support manager to deliver selling strategy to sales team through clear, concise and simple communication tools and training
- Continuously monitor market trends and market performance, competitor range, pricing and promotional activity, and marketing initiatives to capture key leanings and generate recommendations
Key Selection Criteria
- Significant retail management, sales and customer service experience
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to engage people across the business
- Commercially aware with a deep understanding of the competitor landscape
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced environment whilst balancing competing interests
- Proven ability to motivate and bring together resources across multiple teams to achieve success
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- A positive attitude and passion for retail
- Flexible and willingness to learn
