Our Client is an established Australian owed company who specialises in ceramic tiles, Timber flooring and Carpets. They have over 20 years of experience in the field with 9 stores across 3 states. Displaying their latest product in modern showrooms setting the standards high. This company values their training for staff to insure that they are providing all of their clients with quality service.
About the Role:
This is a hands on role which will challenge you! Coming from a extensive product knowledge background of carpets and timber you must be confident, motivated and have experience in all operations of a flooring store. Your solid background and skills in this field will allow you to train your staff and watch all stores succeed. As the Store Manager you will be directly responsible for dealing with suppliers, customers and personnel and reporting to the Operations Manager.
Skills and experience:
• Strong management at a Store Management level background is a must
• Floor covering background in within Carpet & Timber Flooring
• Measure and quote experience is a must!
• A proven track record in high level of sales and implementing KPI's
• Ongoing staff training and team building
• Warehouse operation management and stock control/ordering experience
• Ability to create new business and maintain a client base
• A high level interpersonal communication skill is vital to maintain quality customer and team relationships.
• Intermediate level of computer skills
• High attention to marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales
