Deli 2IC – Adelaide Fresh Fruiterers Morphett Vale

An opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced Deli Leader to join our successful SA owned and operated business located in Morphett Vale.
Adelaide Fresh Fruitereres have been operating for over 20 years providing South Australians with the finest produce of fruit and vegetables to our local community. The Morphett Vale store is a family owned and operated business and we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, our top quality produce and our affordable prices. We are currently seeking an experienced Deli Leader to work alongside our senior Deli manager to both encourage the staff and drive change.
This position will be 30+ hours per week, including week day shifts and an alternating Saturday and Sunday Shifts. As one of the Deli Supervisors you will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Driving productivity resulting in increased sales
- Product management including assisting manager with ordering and quality control
- Promoting excellent customer service throughout the department
- Involvement in rostering
- Team development including facilitating staff learning and training
- Deli Cabinet presentation and merchandising
- Reporting to department Manager
- Comply with company’s policies and procedures
- Serving customers
- Filling and rotating stock
To be successful in securing this position, you will have;
- 5+ years experience in Retail
- 2+ years experience as a Deli/Dairy Manger or Similar
- High attention to detail
- High level of customer service
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
- Maintain high level of Food safety and Food handling practices
- Reliable
- Be hard working and willing to go that “extra Mile” for customers
- Have a professional manner and be well-presented
- Flexible availability (weekends a must)
- Work over a seven-day roster with shifts starting from 7am and afternoon shifts finishing at 7pm
In addition to the above requirements, you will ideally be highly motivated, have experience increasing staff moral and be a positive, engaging person.
