We are looking for a knowledgeable, passionate and experienced Merchandise Planner, where your attention to detail along with experience in inventory management, budgeting, forecasting and working in tight dead-lines will be key to your success.  
  
Responsibilities include: 
  • Ensuring business generates the agreed stock turn through stock management and product flow in store.
  • Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product.
  • Delivering accurate reporting of sales, stock and markdowns on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring the forecasting and budgeting process is aligned with the company’s expectations.
  • Ensuring allocations are in line with the store requirements and sales trend analysis.
  • Ensuring assortment plans are developed to assist the designer in developing the range options for the season.
  • Ensuring constant review of products are aligned with sales trends to improve profitability and stock return.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to production and warehousing on stock and delivery requirements to fulfil timely deliveries to the retail stores.
  • Coordinate deliveries and wholesale suppliers. 
The ideal candidate will possess: 
  • Strong and enthusiastic work ethic. 
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Respect and adherence of relevant policies, procedures, laws and regulations. 
  • Experience in a similar role.
