About the business and the role
The Fresh Flowers Group operates extensively in the Australian flower industry. We are a multi-generational family business. Our retail brand includes the Aunty Poppys flower shops.
We are seeking a qualified and creative florist who is willing to use their skills to produce floral designs in a retail environment with a focus on customer service.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Making bouquets, box arrangements, vase arrangements and other floral designs as required
- Sales oriented and with good up selling skill
- Set up and pack down of flower display
- Stock mananagement
- Cash handling and eftpos
- End of day reconciliation
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as a florist with Floristry qualification
- Well spoken and well presented, warm, friendly and accommodating manner
- Flexible availability for weekends and busy periods
- Energetic, professional, reliable and have excellent punctuality
- Creative and passionate with their work
- Ability to work as part of a team
