We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Sales Cadet who prides themselves on their superior customer service skills. Your days will be busy and include everything from responding to customer inquiries, pick packing orders and delivering products to customers.

Konnect Fastening Systems is a division of the publicly listed company, Coventry Group Ltd, a market leader in the fastener supply industry, with a proud history of servicing the mining, construction and manufacturing industries across Australia and New Zealand.

The Opportunity

Based in South Melbourne, this newly created role is a perfect opportunity for someone wanting to learn our business from scratch with the view to being a Field Sales Rep when the time is right.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service ethics, who is genuinely passionate and enthusiastic about a sales career in the fastener industry.

A typical day looks a bit like this:

• Trade counter sales
• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
• Processing sales orders
• Picking and packing orders (heavy lifting)

About You

We are a solutions based business and are looking for someone who is like minded, someone who is willing to go the extra mile for customers.

To succeed in this role, you must be a team player and possess the following attributes:

• Building relationships with customers comes natural to you
• You pride yourself on your communication skills
• You love working towards targets & KPIs
• Your customer service skills are second to none
• You are computer & system savvy (Oracle, Excel)
• Knowledge of industrial products and construction industry (highly regarded)
• Available to work between 7am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday
